No one jumped higher than Tamara Rosenlund on championship point.
The fifth-year Vancouver Island University Mariners' libero wrapped up her college volleyball career on Saturday in grand fashion, with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-18, 25-19, 26-24) Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Women's Volleyball Championship.
It is the same way she entered the league, with a national title, but in many ways this time it was different.
This time Rosenlund wasn't on the bench. This time they were also avenging a loss to the Mount Royal University Cougars. This time it was also on home court.
For her efforts, Rosenlund was named to the tournament's second all-star team while teammates Dani Smith and Shenise Power made the first team and Leanna Gildersleeve was named MVP.
