Are you interested in a program at Vancouver Island University (VIU) but would like more information? Join us for PreVIU Days, happening between March 9 and 22.
PreVIU Days is your chance to get a sense of what being in your program is actually like, meet professors and current students, and learn about different supports available.
“Pre VIU Days are about helping students see what’s possible for their future,” said Dr. Claire Grogan, Interim Provost and Vice-President Academic at VIU. “Students can step into a classroom, meet instructors, ask current students questions and start to picture themselves here. We are proud to offer a supportive, hands-on learning environment welcoming every student to take the next step toward their goals.”

BA Class Shadow and Lunch
March 9 and 10 | 10 am to 2:30 pm
Sit in on a class and meet faculty and students over lunch.
Science and Technology Previews
March 10 and 11 | 9:30 am to 11 am
Take part in short labs, tours and hands-on activities across Science and Technology.
Faculty of Education Meet and Greet
March 11 | 4 pm to 5 pm
Meet staff and students, ask questions and learn about Education programs.
Future-Ready Business Education: Faculty of Management
March 17 | 1 pm to 3:30 pm
Explore business programs and connect with faculty and students.
Glow Up! Hairdressing and Esthetics Experience
March 17 | 4:30 to 6:30 pm
Try hands-on activities, tour the spa and salon, and meet instructors.
Faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services Open House
March 18 | 2 to 4 pm
March 19 | 10 am to 12 pm
Tour labs and classrooms and meet faculty and students.
Trades and Tech Showcase
March 21 | 12 to 3 pm
Discover hands-on career paths in trades and technology.
