Music students from Malaspina University-College and special guest artists will showcase their talents in three year-end concerts to be held April 6, 7 and 8.
The Vocal Concert, on Monday, April 6, will feature Malaspina's University-College Singers, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, the Vocal Jazz Quintet, and Malaspina's Chamber Singers.
The Classical Concert, on Tuesday, April 7, will highlight Malaspina's classical music students. In addition to various solo performances, enjoy the classical sounds of Malaspina's Brass Ensemble, the Malaspina Chamber Singers and Malaspina's Wind Ensemble.
Lovers of the Big Band sounds won't want to miss the performance on Wednesday, April 8. Hear Malaspina's Big Band as well as the Malaspina Brass Ensemble. Special appearances by the Nanaimo Musicians' Association Big Band, as well as Decadence (a band of instructors, professional musicians and former students) will round out the evening.
All concerts begin at 7:30 pm in the Malaspina University-College's Theatre. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at the door.
