In May 2014 the Visual Arts Program at Vancouver Island University is offering an exciting art and cultural tour of Portugal, Spain and Morocco, open to both the public and VIU students.
An information session about the tour will be held on Thursday, April 25, at 4:30pm on VIU’s Nanaimo campus. The tour will include visits to Lisbon, Seville, Gibraltar, Granada, Madrid and Marrakesh taking in Roman temples, medieval alleyways, and great cathedrals, as well as some of the world’s most famous art museums. Jane Cole, professor of studio art and art history at VIU, and the tour leader, will be facilitating the information session and sharing more details of the tour, the costs and the proposed itinerary.
