A young Nanaimo chef is slaving away in the kitchen to prepare for a major international competition in Toronto later this month.
Kellie Callender will be competing against six other top students from culinary schools across Canada for the 2013 S. Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Canada Regional Competition Monday, Feb. 25.
