VIU in partnership with the Superstore Pharmacy is pleased to announce three upcoming free Flu Vaccination Clinics being held for interested employees and students. For more information on the Flu (influenza) and on immunizations, please visit the websites below.

If interested, please make a note in your calendar to attend one of the following clinics:
Clinic 1 Subject to the availability of the vaccine
Date: November 15, 2019
Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Royal Arbutus Room - Building 300 (above the cafeteria)
Clinic 2
Date: November 18, 2019
Time: 11:00am to 4:00pm
Location: Royal Arbutus Room - Building 300 (above the cafeteria)
Clinic 3
Date: November 22, 2019
Time: 11:00am to 4:00pm
Location: Royal Arbutus Room - Building 300 (above the cafeteria)
Things to Consider:
· The vaccination is given in the upper arm (shoulder), so clothing worn should easily expose this area (i.e. loose fitting sleeves or short sleeves).
· The process should only take about 15 minutes. If you are currently suffering from a cold, fever or flu or any other respiratory illness you should postpone receiving this vaccination until a later date.
Allergies: If you are allergic to eggs, you should consult your doctor prior to receiving this vaccination as it could cause an allergic reaction.
