VANCOUVER, April 14, 2011: The College of Registered Nurses of B.C. (CRNBC) presented a Nursing Excellence Award to a VIU faculty member at a ceremony on April 7, 2011 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Thirty-three awards were presented this year. Through the CRNBC Nursing Excellence Awards registered nurses honour colleagues for outstanding contributions to the nursing profession and for demonstrating excellence in relation to the CRNBC Professional Standards for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.
The College of Registered Nurses of B.C. is the regulatory body for more than 37,000 registered nurses, nurse practitioners and licensed graduate nurses in B.C.
