Vancouver Island University Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude to the Windsor Plywood Foundation for their leadership gift in support of the Imagine VIU campaign and our students. In honour of this gift and their long history of support, the new Trades Discovery Centre will now be known as the Windsor Plywood Trades Discovery Centre. The new name went up on the front of the building facing Wakesiah Avenue last weekend.
In May, in honour of President Emeritus Dr. Ralph Nilson’s many contributions to VIU, the new Centre for Health and Science received a new name as well – the Dr. Ralph Nilson Centre for Health and Science.
