Dr. Leslie King (left), vice-president, academic at Malaspina University-College gratefully accepts an $11,500 cheque presented to the Malaspina Foundation by employees of RBC Royal Bank. The money represents half the proceeds from the annual RBC golf tournament held at Fairwinds earlier this year. On hand for the cheque presentation and lunch in Malaspina's Discovery Room were (back, left to right) Rob Sawyer (RBC), Carol Nielsen (RBC), Bruce Williams, manager, community relations for A-Channel and Malaspina Foundation board member, Roger Speer (RBC), Ron Forster, (RBC and Foundation Director), Susie Caswell, development manager for Malaspina Foundation, and Moira Jenkins (RBC). The funds will be used to support student scholarships at Malaspina.
