The Geography Club, the Geography Department, Friends of Plan Nanaimo, and the North Island chapter of the Planning Institute of BC invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Urban Issues Film Festival this Friday (the 21st) in Building 356, Room 109 (Auditorium). The event will occur between 3 and 10 p.m., with free pizza, popcorn and beverages courtesy of PIBC and the Geography Department. We will be showing "Garbage Warrior" and "Mad City Chickens," along with a couple of shorts, and each film will be followed by facilitated discussion. At 8 p.m. there will be a panel of campus and community representatives to lead a discussion of where we go from here.
If you are interested in attending this free event, please email Deborah.Jensen@nanaimo.ca to hold a place. Please register as we need a head count for food.
