North Island College (NIC) signed an agreement with Malaspina University-College on Oct. 15 that will see NIC students who have succesfully completed their first two years at NIC qualified to apply directly to the third year of Malaspina’s Bachelor of Education program.

The Pathways for Teacher in Training agreement is a direct result of a comprehensive partnership between North Island College and Malaspina University-College that has already seen the establishment of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at NIC.  This Agreement offers NIC students an opportunity that is both easily accessible and in high demand.  Students must only complete two full years of study (60 credits of university transferable programming) at NIC to be eligible for admission into the third year of Malaspina’s program.
