Lisa Wilson remembers what it felt like wandering around Vancouver Island University without seeing another aboriginal person.
She eventually discovered support services for aboriginal students on campus, but wishes she had known sooner.

Vancouver Island University will receive $225,000 over three years from the Counselling Foundation of Canada for a new Aboriginal Mentorship program, Community Cousins.
