VIU’s Music
Department is presenting three year-end concerts at Malaspina Theatre April
6-8, all starting at 7:30 pm.
A Classical
Concert Tuesday, April 6 features student solo performances, Cantabile
Chamber Choir
VIU Wind Ensemble and VIU Trombone Ensemble. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for
students and seniors.
The Choir
Concert Wednesday, April 7 features College
Singers, VIU Vocal Jazz Ensembles I and II and Cantabile Chamber Choir. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students and
seniors.
The Big
Band Jazz Concert Thursday, April 8 is a benefit for Nanaimo Community Hospice
Society with performances by VIU Big Bands with guest singers. Admission
is $10. Tickets are available at the door for all events.
