Giving Tuesday
Small supports can make a big difference in a student’s life. A granola bar before class, a professional outfit for an interview or covering an unexpected cost can help students stay on track with their education.
That’s what VIU’s Access Fund makes possible – and why this Giving Tuesday, the VIU Foundation is raising funds to ensure students have what they need to thrive. VIU’s Giving Tuesday campaign includes matching opportunities to double the impact of donations and the popular online auction.

He’s keeping an eye on how businesses are responding to the US tariff regime by moving production to the United States. He’s arguing that they should do the opposite.
He’s also keeping an eye on the latest movements in electoral reform. Yukoners recently voted in favour of electoral reform. The system recommended by the Yukon Citizens’ Assembly is rank-choice ballots using a system called Alternative Vote, which is designed to ensure candidates obtain a majority in their riding before they are elected.
