For 35 years Mrs. Hambly, now 91, has patiently allowed her hair to be shampooed, scissored, layered, curled and coloured by decades of Malaspina Hairdressing students, and she somehow managed to smile all the way to her retirement, last month.
"Mrs. Hambly has been an absolute delight to work with and her positive approach to life has been an inspiration for our students and instructors," said Hairdressing instructor Sherry Leifer.
