The Malaspina Mariner Women's Volleyball team is #1 in Canada. The Mariner men’s team is not far behind at #3 in Canada.
The undefeated Mariner women are 5-0 in league play and recently won the CBC Bearcat volleyball tournament.
Mariner Men are 4-1 in league play. In October, the team had impressive wins over CIS schools such as York and Thompson River Universities in the University of B.C. Thunderball tournament.
The Mariners are thrilled to be hosting the BCCAA Provincial Men's and Women's Volleyball Championships February 21-23, 2008, in which they will be defending their titles from 2007.
