Go! Island host Kait Burgan took a tour at VIU’s Nanaimo campus this week to provide some highlights to expect in VIU’s Open House on Friday, Oct. 18 from 1 to 6 p.m.
Take a sneak peak with Kait at Fisheries and Aquaculture’s touch tank, see how a Chemistry experiment goes off with a big bang, head behind-the-scenes with Theatre students at Malaspina Theatre as they prep for their upcoming production of The Taming of the Shrew, and listen in as Kait learns about the woodfire oven used by the Baking and Pastry Arts program to produce delicious treats like pizza and bread.
