Research goals

I study the evolution of early hominin behaviour, focusing on the time period of approximately two million to one million years ago. I also study human skeletal biology and examine changes in burial practice throughout Mesopotamia and the Levant from the Ubaid Period (4600 BCE) to the early Bronze Age.
