Haiti continues to struggle to recover from one disaster after another. The ElderCollege Saturday Speaker Series takes a look at the troubled past of Haiti and its relationship to Canada.
Speakers in the series will examine the history of the country and the prospects for recovery following political turmoil and a devastating earthquake.
The series, offered through Continuing Education at Vancouver Island University, runs Saturdays, Feb. 18 – March 24; 10:30 am – noon at VIU’s Nanaimo campus.

Note: Space permitting, tickets will also be sold for $10 per lecture at the door to the general public five minutes before the start of each lecture.
