Vancouver Island University Culinary Arts students and Chef Debbie Shore will be featured on the lastest episode of Flavours of the West Coast, a Chek TV television series about the best local, sustainable, healthy, and delicious food from various regions around British Columbia.
The show airs Monday, Oct. 29 at 9:30 pm and again on Friday, Nov. 2 at 4 pm.
A film crew interviewed Chef Shore, the students and Brian Kingzett, Manager of Vancouver Island University’s Deep Bay Field Station, last summer for an episode on the local shellfish industry.
The team at Deep Bay was filmed harvesting and preparing Geoduck.
