The Coastal Community Credit Union is continuing its tradition of support for students at Malaspina University-College with a pledge of $25,000.
The gift, which will be paid over the next five years, will help Malaspina’s goal of expanding and improving the current Library.
Presenting a plaque honoring the gift today were Fred Kolodrubksy, Chair of the Malaspina Foundation, and Rich Johnston, President of Malaspina University-College.
The plaque, which will hang in the Music department where many of the Credit Union’s previous gifts have been directed, was acknowledged by Bob Bennie, CEO of the Coastal Community Credit Union, Lynne Fraser, Chief Financial Officer, and John Newall, Chair of the CCCU Board.
