Malaspina is very proud to be selected as the host of the 2007 CCAA Men’s Volleyball Championships. This event will bring the best eight teams from across Canada to compete for the title of ‘National Champion’. Malaspina has a long history of hosting Provincial and National Championships (Basketball in 2006, Badminton in 2003 and 1996, Volleyball in 2002 and many other events), and we are looking forward to showcasing both the campus and the city of Nanaimo.
The Championships are expected to draw fans from all over Vancouver Island, the lower mainland and from other parts of the country. Malaspina expects to draw over 5000 fans during the three days of the event.
