League play began Nov. 3 for the Mariner Volleyball teams against the Capilano Blues.
Our Mariner Volleyball teams both won Provincial Gold last season so come out and support the teams! This year we host the 2007 Men's Volleyball National Championships March 8-10.
Next Friday, November 10, the basketball teams host our Island rivals the Camosun College Chargers; Women at 6:30 p.m. Men at 8:15 p.m.in the gym. This will be the first league home games for both teams.
The Mens' Basketball team won the Capilano Blues Tournament in pre-season play.
The Womens' basketball team hosted The 2nd Annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Tournament last weekend, Oct. 29-30, raising $621 for the CBCF.
Also last weekend, the Men's soccer team returned from the Provincial Championships with a bronze medal.
Our golf team also won a provincial bronze medal recently and placed 6th at Nationals in Quebec.
