Research goals
A seasoned RVT with more than 10 years of diverse experience. I have a Bachelor of Science, Honours degree from York University. I'm a former ESL teacher who worked and lived in Seoul, South Korea. I received my RVT diploma from the University of Guelph. I am the Vice President of the British Columbia Veterinary Technologists Association. My areas of experience include: large animal medicine, lab animal sciences, veterinary ophthalmology, emergency medicine, urgent care services, internal medicine and referral services, as well as neurology, radiation oncology and most recently ICU veterinary services in addition to companion animal GP and exotics medicine. I also volunteer with Helping Paws, a charity veterinary service which provides medical care to low-income individuals and the homeless population in Nanaimo.
