Research goals

I am currently organizing an inaugural Theatre/Interior Design field school to Greece. The Greece: Arts and Culture study abroad is an international, interdisciplinary opportunity for students to explore a region rich in arts history that still resonates with designers and creatives today.

I am facilitating a VIU Innovate Grant project called "Inclusive Theatre Collective, Hooray!" (ITCH). We welcome diverse students to free, drop-in drama games and activities sessions, reducing physical, emotional and logistical barriers that challenge students in their interest to get involved with theatre initiatives, performance and production.

I am working on the final iteration of an original play called "Concessions of a Wannabe Rock Star" which tells the story of Sally as she travels across Canada, enroute to making her creative dreams come true. I presented this musical narrative work-in-progress at the Arts and Humanities Colloquium in Fall 2022 and have a vision to access more funding towards finalizing the script and mounting a full production.
