Research goals
My research examines children’s memory, children’s eyewitness testimony, and interviewing strategies that facilitate complete and accurate recall of experienced events. I am also interested in the experiences of child witnesses in the legal system. The ultimate goal of my research is to make recommendations to interviewing professionals about how best to gather evidence from vulnerable witnesses to maximize the likelihood of successful prosecution of crimes against children and vulnerable people.
